Simple, Nutrition-dense smoothie
Base:
- Plain, unsweetened Kefir
- Carrot and/or Pineapple juice
Other ingredients:
- Raw Honey- 1 Tbsp.
- Strawberries
- Blueberries
- Banana
- Cacao powder- 1 tsp.
- Ground chia seeds- 1 tsp.
Berry detox smoothie
Base:
- Coconut oil (2 Tbsp)
- Almond milk (1 cup)
Add ingredients below:
- Blueberries- 1 pint container
- Strawberries- 16 oz. (can be frozen)
- Carrot juice- 1 cup
- Organic Apricot Peach juice- 1/2 cup
- Organic Pineapple juice- 1/2 cup
- Orange juice- 1 cup
- Banana
- Avocado
- Lemon juice (just a splash)
- Raw honey- 2 tablespoons
The Green Stuff (optional, but really adds to the detox)
- Cilantro and Parsley (handful of leaves)
- Cucumber (1 shredded)
- Celery (2 stalks shredded)
Combine these ingredients in separate chopper/small blender and mix in small amount of smoothie mix. Chop until it’s as smooth as possible, then add into other ingredients and mix until desired consistency.
The recipe should make enough for 5-7 smoothie drinks.
